Florida · pick a county, don't get detected in one
How many are licensed in my county?
Choose a profession and a Florida county below. We show you the count from the state's own licensure file — this page does not read your location from your browser or your connection.
Dental Hygienist — Alachua County
101–250
101–250 people hold an active dental hygienist license with a mailing address in Alachua County.
101–250 of those records carry an email address in the same file. We don't show it here — this tool only ever returns a count.
What this tool never shows
- No names, ever — only an aggregate count.
- No downloadable list, at any count.
- No detection of where you are — the county is the one you picked, not the one your connection suggests.
- No number below the state's own suppression threshold.
Frequently asked questions
Where does this number come from?
Florida DOH — MQA Data Download (data-download.mqa.flhealthsource.gov), downloaded 2026-08-04. It is a count of active license records, not an estimate.
Why is the count missing for some counties?
Any county-profession combination with fewer than 10 people is withheld in the source file itself, to avoid identifying individuals. We pass that suppression through — we never fill it in with an estimate.
Does this tool know where I am?
No. There is no location API call on this page. The county shown is only ever the one you selected from the dropdown.
